Welcome to the City of Oak Park. We are an inner-ring, suburban community of Detroit with 30,000 residents. The City boasts an A+ Positive bond rating from Standard and Poor’s and is financially stable.

The Oak Park Public Safety Department is now enrolling citizen's of Oak Park into our October Citizen Academy.  This is a four-week course held on all four Wednesdays in October at 6-9 p.m.
