The Public Information Department's mission is to convey to all residents as much information as possible about their municipal government's services, events, activities, and programs. The department consists of two divisions: Cable Operations and Print.

The Print Division publishes a 16-page quarterly tabloid-size newsletter, The Oak Park Report, which is distributed to all City addresses. It also publishes and distributes community-wide an Annual Report/Calendar, a Citizen Participation Guide and a Family City Directory. In addition, the Print Division is responsible for the City's media relations.

This website service is designed to remind residents of pending events, programs and occurrences that have been previewed in the past print edition of the newsletter and to publicize additional news that has been generated since the time of that publication. The OPR Web Update
