Introducing the OPR Web Update

Welcome to the first edition of the e-news supplement to The Oak Park Report, the city's quarterly 16-page newsletter. This website service is designed to remind residents of pending events, programs and occurrences that have been previewed in the past print edition of the newsletter and to publicize additional news that has been generated since the time of that publication. The print version of The Oak Park Report will continue to be delivered to every residential address in the City on the following schedule: Autumn Edition, early October; Winter Edition, early January, Spring Edition, early April; Summer Edition, late June/early July. New editions of the Web Update will be provided in every month between issues of the regular Oak Park Report. These will be constantly "tweaked" to make sure they include the timeliest reminders and latest information. The concept of the OPR Web Update was approved by City Council to be implemented as yet another method of providing residents with as much information as possible about their municipal government and its services, joining with The Oak Park Report, OPTV-15, Municipal Channel 16, and the City's general website in meeting this communications mission.
